Dog fouling is a serious problem and if you don’t clean up after your dog you could face a fine of at least £100. The person who is in charge of the dog at the time of the fouling is liable to pay the fine.

If charged, you can pay by calling the number shown on the fixed penalty notice, or at a council One Stop Shop. If you don’t pay the fine within 28 days you could get a criminal record.

If your dog makes a mess, please pick it up!

 

If you see anyone allowing their dog to foul and not picking up, or if you see dog mess in general, please help us by reporting it on-line. This will allow us to send the Enforcement Officers to those areas.
